About the ReStore

A bargain-hunter's home improvement store... that supports the building of affordable homes in Rochester, NY

Open to the public, we sell quality new and gently-used building materials at a fraction of normal retail prices. Proceeds from our ReStore fund the construction of new, decent and affordable Habitat houses in Rochester. Many affiliates across the United States and Canada operate successful ReStores, some of which raise enough funds to build an additional 10 or more houses annually.

Materials sold by Habitat ReStores are donated by building supply stores, contractors, remodelers, demolition crews and individuals who wish to show their support for Habitat. In addition to raising funds, a ReStore helps the environment by putting good, usable materials into use and out of landfills.

Location

The Habitat ReStore is located in a stand-alone building at 755 Culver Road in Rochester, NY. It lies between Atlantic Ave. and East Main St., next to Lorraine's and across from the East High School.
